Shared cars in Lohja

In Lohja, the main users of OP Shared Car are OP Länsi-Uusimaa, OP-Kiinteistökeskus and the City of Lohja. During working hours the cars are used by city employees. City residents can rent the cars in the evenings and weekends.

Cars XOK-730 and XOP-816 are located in the OP inner yard. You can access the yard through a gateway. The gate is always open so getting and dropping off the car is possible at all times.

Environmentally-friendly mobility for all city residents

There are five Renault Zoe electric cars available in Lohja. Charging the car at its home location and other Virta charging points is free. If the user charges the car at other charging points, the user pays the possible charging fees.

How to take cars in Lohja to your use

Get the OP Shared Car application to your phone.

Sign up as a user and add your payment details in the application.

Cars in Lohja will become available for you once you add the following codes to the application: Lohja1, Lohja2 and Lohja3

Reserve the car with the OP Shared Car mobile application. The application shows when the cars are available. Reservations can be done well in advance, for example a week ahead.

Keys are not needed - when the reservation starts, you can open the car doors with the mobile application.

The application works with the most common smart phones and can be downloaded from App Store and Google Play.

Pricing

Rental fees are shown in the OP Shared Car application

Pricing is hourly-based. The price per hour is charged for every beginning hour (1.5h = 2h). The reservation can be canceled for free up until the reservation begins. Reservation is charged based on the original reservation even if the car was returned in advance.

The cable is released by pressing the button located on the left of the steering wheel. The button has a picture of a plug. The charging cable port is located in the front of the car.

Plug in the Type 2 charging cable to the car and the charger

There are two cables with different charging plugs in the trunk of the car. Type 2 charging plug is used when charging with a dedicated charging point. The Schuko plug can be used when charging from a regular home socket.

Start charging by touching the charging point with the RFID tag

A Fortum Charge & Drive RFID tag is in the car. Touch the icon in the charging point with the tag.

Check that charging has started from the car dashboard.

Once charging has started, you can see the battery level in the car dashboard and a charging animation in the battery icon. As the final step, lock the doors with the mobile application.

Unplug the charging cable from both the car and the charger

Place the cable in the trunk. Close the inner and outer charging port lids. Remember to return the charging card back to the car.
